Dr Michael Zaninovich is a Prosthodontist and Principal clinician at Aria Dental Implant Centre. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. His clinical time is restricted to surgical and restorative implant dentistry. He has offered CPD courses in advanced surgical and restorative implant rehabilitation since 2013.

Dr. Zaninovich lectures and hosts regular Continuing Professional Development courses (CPD courses) for dentists and dental professionals looking to develop and enhance their abilities in dental implants under his tutelage. The courses are designed for small groups to ensure maximum benefit to the attendees. The hands-on workshops, as well as the clinical workshops on live patients, assist in solidifying the attendee’s understanding of procedures.

RESTORATIVE IMPLANT DENTISTRY – 16 HRS CPD

Course Summary:

Successful restorative implant dentistry requires a solid understanding of the art and science of treatment planning, assessment of patient risk factors, case selection, material properties, impression techniques, occlusal principles, and management of common prosthetic complications.

This unique and comprehensive course will provide invaluable experience in the treatment planning, impression-taking and prosthesis insertion steps on actual patients under specialist supervision.

FIXED & DETACHABLE FULL ARCH IMPLANT REHABILITATION – 16 HRS CPD

Restorative Principles and Techniques

Course Summary:

This comprehensive didactic modular course removes the mystery of full arch implant reconstruction.

Established scientific, biomechanical, and clinical research information will support your knowledge of selecting, planning, and restoring full arch cases using fixed or detachable complete arch implant rehabilitation protocols.

This module includes theoretical, clinical and laboratory techniques for full arch rehabilitation, live demonstration, and clinical hands-on experience with real full arch patient cases under supervision.

This course is open to all dental clinicians and prosthetists wishing to advance their clinical and technical skills in restorative implantology.

SURGICAL IMPLANT DENTISTRY – 12 HRS CPD

Surgical Principles for Single Implant Placement

Course Summary:

Successful implant dentistry requires a solid understanding of biology and biomechanical principles, case selection and treatment planning, and surgical and restorative clinical practice.

This comprehensive surgical course targets the dedicated general practitioner wishing to advance their surgical and basic restorative implantology knowledge and skills.

This opportunity will ensure the clinician is ready to confidently and effectively manage implant prosthetic rehabilitation in their clinics.

This module will focus on treatment planning and real implant placement in the clinical setting with selected patients.  Upon completing this module, the clinician will be familiar and confident with conventional implant placement in the non-aesthetic zone.

SURGICAL IMPLANT PLACEMENT ON YOUR PATIENT – 8 HRS CPD

Complete treatment planning for single & multiple implant surgical placements on your patient.

Course Summary:

This course is open to all dental clinicians wishing to improve their knowledge and clinical skills in surgical implantology.

Clinicians will have an opportunity to place implant/s in their patients under direct specialist supervision.

The course will enhance the clinician’s confidence in treatment planning and the management of surgical implant therapy.

They will complete a case presentation of the proposed surgical and restorative treatment plan for the patient that they treat at Aria Dental.

Clinicians are encouraged to bring their dental assistants to gain experience in implant set-up techniques and pre and post-operative protocols to enhance the patient experience.

After completing this unique clinical course, clinicians will return to their practices more confident in managing implant placement and rehabilitation.
