Dr Michael Zaninovich, as a Specialist Prosthodontist, highly values the relationship he has with his referring dentists and prioritises to see referred patients as soon as possible with minimal waiting periods.
Dr Zaninovich seeks to build a strong relationship with all his referring dentists, providing mentorship and education in the discipline of Prosthodontics, including implant dentistry. He works closely with his network of referring dentists and is available to discuss all aspects of the treatment from the planning phase to the prosthodontic and/or surgical phase.
He provides regular updates on patients’ treatments to keep his referring dentists well-informed. He will outline the examination findings and proposed management as well as any treatment they may have received. Once the treatment has been completed, he promptly refers the patient back to their referring dentist for general dental care and maintenance.

Mentoring is a process for the informal transmission of knowledge, and the psychosocial support as relevant to work, career, or a dentist’s professional development. Dr Zaninovich’s mentoring entails informal communication, usually face-to-face, for a sustained period of time – offering support in clinical advice, direction, motivation, coaching, training and successful professional goal setting. Dr Zaninovich allows the mentee to drive the relationship and encourages them to take responsibility for their own development, under his guidence. The mentee should be prepared to identify their own goals and challenges and set priorities for their relevant personal and professional growth.
